SISU SKI RETREAT
ILLUSTRATION SUITE, STICKER DESIGN | DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION | FALL 2021
Sisu Ski Retreat is a twice-annual women’s nordic ski retreat based in Colorado and Washington. Sisu has created a space for both newcomers and lifelong nordic skiers alike to come together in quiet havens and enjoy winter – skiing, yoga, eating, laughing, relaxing, hot tubbing, and more.
This illustration work was an exciting addition to Sisu’s growing brand. I created a pattern with more than 15 miniature illustrations, custom illustrations to serve as mascots for the retreat, and a suite of stickers to remind participants of their special weekend.
Capturing the spirit of the event was central to this project. My goal was to create materials that both fit in with the existing brand while also creating a lasting impression on attendees – illustrative work that will instantly remind them of their time at Sisu wherever they see it.
This custom pattern created for Sisu Ski Retreat is comprised of 15+ custom miniature illustrations that embody the spirit of the retreat. The pattern and individual icons are versatile and may be used for merchandise, marketing collateral, on their website, and beyond.
