FRIENDS OF THE TETON RIVER

INTERPRETIVE ILLUSTRATION | SURFACE DESIGN | FALL 2022

Digital Illustration

On behalf of Friends of the Teton River, I created a series of 15 interpretive illustrations for educational kiosks along the Teton River, along with three original gouache paintings for the backgrounds.

The Teton River is a lifeline and vital waterway in Teton Valley, Idaho. As beautiful and iconic as the river is, with increased recreational and agricultural use in recent years, sections of the river have become increasingly unhealthy.

With this series of three large-scale interpretive kiosks, Friends of the Teton River hopes to engage river users and teach them how we keep the Teton River healthy. The kiosks are designed to be accessible to viewers and readers of all ages, and each illustration is paired with text to explain an element of river health.
