VISIT PINEDALE | ADVENTURE IDENTITY | 2019-2020

Photography, Styling, Direction, Post-Production

At the foot of the Wind River Range–home to Wyoming’s tallest peak–lies a small but mighty town: Pinedale, Wyoming. With its legacy industries, oil and gas, on the decline, Pinedale sought to distinguish themselves as a unique recreational destination in the Rocky Mountains: the real Wyoming.

As the gateway to the fabled Cirque of the Towers backpacking route in the summer, and home to world-class snowmobiling in the winter, Pinedale found itself well-positioned to become the next big Rocky Mountain destination – all within a day’s drive from Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. Pinedale’s version of Wyoming is a little bit different than their northern neighbors – a little more cowboy coffee than oatmilk latte – but that’s the way they like it. (But if you’re an oatmilk latte person, don’t miss Pine Coffee Supply–it’s a true local gem).

Pinedale lacked the imagery to tell their year-round adventure stories to populate their updated website, social media, ad placements, and more.

The challenge? Showcase Pinedale’s unique adventure opportunities, from overnights in the Winds to hitting the slopes with the kids. Beyond backpacking and snowmobiling, Pinedale is just minutes away from incredible climbing, fly fishing, a blossoming network of mountain bike trails, a family-friendly ski area, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing on lakes, and… you get the point.

There’s something for everyone in Pinedale, and they want the world to know it.
